The Michigan Congressional Delegation at the Inauguration Party of the State Society of Michigan

The February vote when Michigan Republican delegates decide the next Chair of the Michigan Republican Party is fast approaching.  It’s a competitive race between Meshawn Maddock, Jim Runestad, and Scott Greenlee. Joseph Cella is also running.

The Inauguration of President Donald J. Trump provided an opportunity for MIGOP Chair candidates to campaign among delegates in high spirits.  Maddock, Runestad, and Greenlee all attended the Bi-Partisan Inaugural Celebration of the Michigan State Society.

When President Trump had the swearing in ceremony moved indoors, Scott Greenlee decided to host a watch party for Michigan Republicans in Washington, D.C.

The candidates for MIGOP Chair continued in full campaign mode as delegates and activists celebrated at numerous events across D.C.

Matt and Meshawn Maddock hosted a “NIGHTCAP WITH THE MADDOCK’S” event, where attendees toasted to the 47th President, Donald J. Trump.

Maddock, Runestad, and Greenlee have also implemented robust digital campaigns targeting delegates.  We expect these efforts to ramp up as delegates are elevated at county GOP conventions to vote in the February election. The fight to secure endorsements will also intensify, with Maddock leading the pack on that front.

The candidates have been invited to tonight’s meeting of the North Oakland Republican Club to field questions and speak with delegates at the Deer Lake Athletic Club in Clarkston.
